Jenny joined SCC in July of 2024. She’s been working in the wildfire resilience and forest health sphere in WA State for over 20 years. She’s worked for Conservation Districts, the Washington Fire Adapted Communities Learning Network, in the private sector, and most recently with the Department of Natural Resources where she was part of the Community Wildfire Resilience Coordinator Team. Jenny brings a broad range of experience working with diverse partners and communities and has established long-lasting and fruitful partnerships around wildfire resilience and forest health throughout the state. She also has experience with other landowner education & assistance programs focused on stormwater, watershed health, and riparian buffers. Jenny resides in beautiful Bellingham with her awesome partner and 3 crazy teenagers. She enjoys kayaking, traveling, live music, wine tasting, being outdoors, and making people laugh.
