LT Bulletin - November 12, 2025

Leadership

Team SCC,

Our agency is hard at work on a great number of items through the end of the year- program process improvement efforts, the upcoming WACD meeting, the December commission meeting, and all the work we do each day to advance our mission.

I wanted to let you know of a transition happening on our Leadership Team. Shana Joy, who has worked at our agency for over a decade, is leaving the organization to pursue other opportunities.

In the interim, we have asked Hilary Aten to continue leading the programs as she did during Shana’s leave. We have similarly asked Mike Baden to step in to continue coordinating the Regional Manager team.

Longer term, the Leadership Team will be evaluating the ideal organizational structure for SCC. We will be looking at the outcomes from the process improvement work currently under way, gathering employee input, and looking at our Employee Satisfaction survey results to guide our decision-making.

Any structural changes will be made to ensure stronger alignment within our organization, provide clearer points of contact to internal and external partners, support greater accountability, and provide meaningful opportunities for staff growth and training.

We are committed to continuing our transparency as this conversation evolves.
