Each year, the Washington State Conservation Commission (SCC) recognizes one conservation district from each WACD region for outstanding leadership and commitment to voluntary conservation. These Conservation District of the Year Awards are presented at the Washington Association of Conservation Districts (WACD) area meetings in the fall.
Congratulations to the following districts selected as the 2025 Conservation District of the Year recipients. Each of these districts was selected for demonstrating leadership, collaboration, and a strong commitment to locally led conservation.
