VPN and Calendar Sharing Requirements
Improving secure access and collaboration across the team
As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen IT security and enhance team coordination, two new requirements are now in place for all staff:
1. VPN Access Required with BIG-IP Edge Client
To protect our systems and ensure secure, consistent access, all employees must use the BIG-IP Edge Client VPN when working remotely or accessing internal tools. Some systems are already restricted unless accessed via VPN, and more will follow. Please refer to the attached step-by-step guide to get started if you haven’t already set it up.
2. Shared Work Calendars
To improve transparency and make scheduling more efficient, everyone is now expected to share their calendars with the team. Currently, many entries only display as “busy,” which limits our ability to coordinate effectively.
- You may mark personal or sensitive appointments as private using the lock icon or appropriate labels.
- All other calendar details should be visible to team members to support smooth collaboration.
Both changes are part of a broader push to support security and efficiency in how we work together.
