We are pleased to announce Bill Blake as the new Western Washington representative on the Washington State Conservation Commission. Congratulations Bill Blake!  

During the Washington Association of Conservation Districts annual meeting on Monday, December 1st, conservation district supervisors from across the state had the opportunity to meet three candidates, Bill Blake, Brad Bortner, and Mark Craven for the Western Commission Representative.

The Commission provided members of the association the opportunity to make nominations from the floor, in-person or virtually, and no other nominations were received during that time.

After the meet and greet, secured electronic election ballots were sent out to each supervisor via the e-mail address on record with the SCC from the secured software called Election Runner. The election was open for 48 hours starting on Monday, December 1st at 6:00 p.m. to Wednesday, December 3rd at 6:00 p.m.

All ballots have been received, verified and counted.
